Note: Very slow CME that looks like a slow streamer blowout, with a succession of almost identical faint fronts seen in both coronagraphs. The CME seems to accelerate, as seen in SOHO LASCO C3 imagery. There is no clear source seen on the disk, although there is a super minor dimming in AIA 193 centered around N30E10 starting after 00:30Z and continuing until 05Z, but it is extremely faint.

Analysis made with later SOHO LASCO C3 and STEREO A COR2 imagery, leaving C2 imagery out to account for clear acceleration of the CME (from <200 km/s to >400 km/s) in later imagery. Analysis is based on the best fit in two coronagraphs, as no clear source was found on disk. Analysis incorporates a very faint left hand side boundary of this CME as seen in later COR2 imagery. |
